Great - just great - a cyclone is about to pound the snot out of Cairns - and here I was worried about a little 'ole snow and ice event in Dallas....and what I might look like in a swimsuit - well ok - still a little worried about that!!
175 mph winds - 8 foot storm surge - did I mention that we are only about 6 blocks from the beach!!
Wow - I hope everyone in Cairns gets out - the airlines have added additional flights to help folks get out.
Stay tuned - maybe it will veer off and go out to sea
